Has its good and bad sides
Pros:
Side-to-side sliding plate
Cons:
light is very dim, fan is weak and loud
The Bottom Line:
It is just an average microwave. If you need a quiet and strong fan, this product is not for you.

Author's Review
I bought this microwave earlier in a year, and overall am happy with it's quality - it heats up my food just like all the other microwaves I had before. It also looks very appealing, and goes well with my Maytag Gemini double-range.
The plate, as other reviewers have mentioned, slides from side to side, as opposed to spinning around. This is a fantastic feature, as it allows me to reheat food in large rectangular baking dishes. In all of my other microwaves, I had to move food to a large round plate, and it caused some inconvenience.
I am a bit disappointed in the special features that I was really looking forward to:
- The light is very dim. It has two settings, and even on the highest one it is not any brighter than a night-light.
- The fan is not as strong as I was hoping it to be. It has 5 settings, and at the very high setting it seems to do a decent job, but it becomes so loud, that it is almost impossible to tolerate.
Another issue that caused us momentary grief was the fact that when the oven was delivered, it didn't work at all. We've plugged it in, and it was completely dead. We called the retailer (PC Richards), and they sent a repair guy, who opened the microwave, and found that the power cord was not snapped into the system. Once he connected the two, it started working. What made me laugh, was the note right in the microwave Inspected by so-and-so on such date he must be a very thorough inspector.
