Poor Electric Design

One year into our ownership of this Maytag the ice-maker became a animatronic, lights flashing & the ice bin opening closing every two minutes. My dog enjoyed this but in a couple of hours our upper fridge was loosing it's cool. a call to G.E. extended warranty got me an appointment 10 days later so out came my coolers.
After looking on the web I found that my $2600.00 moving sculpture in my kitchen has had this issue mentioned numerous times, with repairmen writing in what was needed to rectify the problem. I tried to see if G.E would help (HA HA HA silly man) Maytag was just as helpful if you actually got to speak to someone.
So I called Home Depot & found a great staff to assist. They were able to get G.E. to respond faster & drop ship parts. Once they arrived it had been almost 5 weeks Quick mention at this point. home depot had brought us a spare fridge two weeks into this debacle.
Once installed we got a whopping three days before the Maytag decided it enjoyed being a sculpture more then it's original intention. Home Depot allowed us at this point to return & choose a similar price unit. Thanks Home Depot.
