What a disappointing dishwasher

We did a lot of research before buying a dishwasher, and I THOUGHT we knew what we were doing. This machine has proved us wrong. It worked pretty well - but it was never THAT great, even from the start. Just a few weeks after we installed the dishwasher, we noticed that the arm placement was poor - glasses on the ends would have particles of food stuck on them even when they were clean going into the dishwasher. Nothing like finding broccoli at the bottom of your water glass - YUCK.

Now that the 1-year warranty is up, the dishwasher motor sounds like wants to explode when we run a normal cycle. We have been really disappointed with this dishwasher and will not buy a Maytag again. Looks like I need to find a different review site before buying our next one!
