Author's Review

We had this dishwasher in our last home, and loved it!! After I brought this dishwasher, everyone in the family was right behind us with this dishwasher. We just brought a new home, and it has a GE.. Man, GE don't even match to this maytag!

The thing I loved the most of this dishwasher that it had "AUTO Clean".. Just push that button, and the machine will decide if your dishes are VERY Dirty or pretty clean.. WIth this type of control, you'll save on water and other power when you don't need to "over wash" your dishes.

This dishwasher has 60 jet wash system.. and that means you got alot of strong water jet spraying around and clean dishes.. cake pans.. cookware.. ect.

The upper rack has a full size wash arm on the top tub area.. and also the upper rack can be removed to wash big stuff! Like cookie sheets I use for the holidays baking, and also it don't have a wash arm in the middle to bang on your tall plates.. pans.... It has a tower in the model that has 22 jets spray to wash the upper rack, and many says "That takes up space!" LOL Well I now have a towerless GE dishwasher, and I really don't gain a whole lot of room! I love the racking on the bottom.. You can flip it over to stand bowls up on it's side the GE, I can't do that.. I have to lay them down and that takes up space..

I used to love the ideal of just throwing in the dirty dishes with out pre washing/pre scrubbing.. now I have to do it with my GE diswasher...

I hear that Maytag is coming out with the new 3 rack dishwasher in Sept, and I am looking foward for that! I will be getting one when it comes out, and put my GE that I have now on the street.

I use the 1 - 9 hour delay on my dishwasher in the summer.. Save on the A/C by running the DW at midnight when your in bed, and it's cooler outside.

So, if you do alot of cooking and baking, Maytag Dishwasher is the way to go.. Yes it may cost a few extra dollars. but trust me! It's well worth it!
