How clean are my dishes

I purchased this dishwasher in Sept, 01 and can only say I wish I'd bought it sooner. After it was installed, I decided to put it to the test by not pre-rinsing or scraping anything. To my surprise, every dish came out spotless. I did debate on whether it was worth $500+ dollars when there were other models in the $200 range, but now there is no question.
The washer has several options including a "tough scrub", "heavy wash", and "santize" cycle. However, this machine has always worked perfectly using an electrosol tablet and the normal wash cycle. (It's nice to know those other options are available though if I decide to "really" test out the dishwasher).
The only real drawback I've found with this dishwasher is the extremely long time it takes to wash the dishes. Expect 2hrs plus if you use the normal cycle and the heated dry, and even longer if you use the "auto clean" cycle. But as I mentioned earlier, the normal cycle usually does the job.
As far as other features I like: it has adjustable shelves which is invaluable for larger pans. There are also several options for silverware and utensil racks which is very nice.
