Pros: Wonderful Lower Dryer, but that's not unique enough to warrant the expense and space.

Cons: Upper dryer is not as represented and a disaster. Expensive to purchase and run.

The Bottom Line: Niche machine for drying synthetic fabrics OR getting rid of odors exclusively IF you are willing to foot the electric bill on GAS model!! Otherwise, forget it.

Pros: Easy controls, large upper drying compartment, several drying options for lower compartment.

Cons: Upper compartment--Long drying time & clothes are stiff; Lower compartment--"dryness" sensor is inaccurate.

The Bottom Line: I like the upper drying compartment for slowly drying clothes so they don't shrink. It's also handy for sweaters and other things that need to be dried flat.
