Neptune Isnt a Total Disaster

The Bottom Line: I would only recommend this machine to mechanically inclined persons, and only a new purchase if Maytag has resolved all issues. Otherwise only purchase used at huge discounts.
Review: Reading some reviews you would think there is no hope whatsoever for these washers with the mold problems anyway. I can understand the early model users with thier electrical problems being so upset, but even that is reasonably cheap to repair...

Review: My wife and I purchased the Maytag Neptune about 3 years ago and we have never had a problem. The washer always cleans well, is very quiet throughout its operation, and works as promised.

Review: In 2003 my mother bought me the set washer and dryer. WIthin 2 years all the bars that flip clothes in the dryer broke off, I found a place online called repairclinic.com and ordered the parts myself and fixed it no big deal only they don't come...
