I'd forgotten about the dramatic difference between top and front loaders

Must Buy New Motor When Card Fails Although Motor Warranty Is 10 Yrs

The Bottom Line: Unrecommended; but you may want to consider if you can get cheaply enough; take extended warranty into consideration - you will need it for the life of machine.

Maytag Neptune- Trick for cleaner, "HEALTHIER" clothes, !

The Bottom Line: Consumers... magazine, gives the Neptune the WORST ratings on washing... and reliability! If I had it to do again, I'd get the "top rated" Whirlpool duet, or maybe the Kenmore(cheaper).
