Pros: Efficient, gentle on clothes, lots of cycle options, attractive
Cons: Costly
The Bottom Line: So far, the Maytag Neptune seems to live up to its hype. An update may be called for in about 6 months.

Review: Updated
It was an inauspicious beginning to the New Year. My old reliable washing machine quit in mid rinse cycle, leaving me high and dry (and my clothes soggy wet). The obvious solution, of course, was to call a repair service and... |

Review: We have owned our Maytag Neptune Washer for a little over a year now. With a hefty price tag of $1499 it wasn't an easy decision to go through with the actual purchase. Who in their right mind would spend $1499 on a washing machine? Weellll,...

Pros: It's a great washer, really it is.
Cons: It's also a gamble. How long until you start having problems too?
The Bottom Line: Is the $1000 price tag an amount you're willing to pay for a ticking time bomb? Really do some research before making this purchase.

Review: I ve been putting off writing a review of my Neptune washing machine for quite some time now. That s partially because I m a professional procrastinator, but partially because I wasn t quite sure what to think.

Pros: quiet, front loader, saves water and electricity
Cons: very expensive, can't overstuff, doesn't clean as well as advertised
The Bottom Line: If you wash a lot of clothes, you will reap the saving on your water and electric bill in a matter of years.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Maytag has created a new upscale line of Washers and Dryers called Neptune. These high-end pair are marketed as larger and more efficient and therefore you will be paying a premium for them. Last summer I reviewed the MAH4000 and wasn't overly...

Pros: Very quiet, smooth running, less water used.
Cons: Can make socks disappear!
The Bottom Line: To save money, reserve out natural resources and enjoy an otherwise maniacle task you should purchase this machine.

Review: We bought our first house not all that long ago, and so for the first time we had to face buying things like a washer & dryer. We've tried (where we have the budget) to buy things for the new house that will last. This means that sometimes we buy...

Review: I never thought I'd ever consider doing laundry fun, in fact fifteen years ago or so I'd have thought someone who did think so really needed to get out of the house more. But since my new Maytag Neptune washer and dryer arrived in my home, I can...

Pros: Easy on water, energy, and soap. $20.00 bucket cleaned clothes for 7 months
Cons: washcloths and socks always slip into the rubber gasket, then I have to rewash
The Bottom Line: After going front-loading I'll never go back. Huge capacity, great savings on energy and water bills, and even detergent costs, plus clean clothes.

Pros: This machine will save you money on your water and electric bills
Cons: A lot of bells and whistles that can go wrong
The Bottom Line: This machine will clean your clothes better then any top loading washer. A lot of gadgets on this machine can break which doesn't make it worth the price tag.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I ve had my Maytag Neptune washer now for a little over a year. My wife fought me tooth and nail to buy the beast, mainly because of the $900.00 price tag, but I finally won out. A grand victory, well, maybe at the time, now I m not 100% sure. This...
