Great Compact

I had to purchase a compact washer due to space problems in my laundry room which is really just a pass-through to the garage. I wanted to stack the washer and dryer to allow for a shelving unit next to it for storage. This unit with it's companion dryer fit perfectly. Initially I thought that the 2.4 cu.ft. washer capacity would be inadequate but it swallows a amazing amount of laundry and it just right for up to a family of three. Surely big enough for a couple or single person.

The washer is very easy to operate and used very little water, just getting the clothes dripping wet. I use low-sudsing liquid HE detergent such as Purex HE...the normal amount or less, never more and about 1/3 the normal amount of an OXY product. Normal wash cycles take about an hour.

During the spin cycle the washer vibrates with unbalanced loads and it is amplified in a stacked situation. I've never experienced other front loaders but I expect this is normal and I'm not concerned

When washing towels, one has to use 1/2 of the normal amount of HE detergent. Otherwise, over-sudsing will occur and the machine will stop during the rinse-spin-drain cycle with a "SUDS" error message. There is nothing in the user's manual about this so I used the rinse and drain cycles repeatedly to finish the load. It's funny that this only happens with towels. At times, I've used too much detergent for a particular load and there were a lot of suds but the machine had no problems...strange.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this washer, no regrets.
