I've never seen the TV Show....but I loved the Movie!

The Bottom Line: Great Western-Flavored fun, lot of action, lot of Gibson, Foster, and Garner--I recommend it to anyone looking for a good time.
Review: We borrowed this from my in-laws, and I did so sort of half-heartedly. I'm not the biggest fan of westerns, but I like Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster, and James Garner is okay. After watching this, I love all three of them. And I want to buy this...

Maverick: A Fullhouse of Western Fun

The Bottom Line: Thoroughly enjoyable when you just want to sit back and relax without worrying about a message or thinking.
Review: Mel Gibson plays Bret Maverick in this movie remake of the old television show. He can draw faster than nearly anyone else in the west but can't shoot so he hits anything. He can read other gamblers and determine their "tells," the little things...

This Movie Has Good Times In Spades!

The Bottom Line: This memorable group of characters really fire on all cylinders, great movie.
Review: I first watched Maverick in the theater the day it was released. Since then I have watched this movie about 50 times on DVD. It just has not lost it's appeal.
