Mattel Barbie® Doll Loves T.M.X.™ Elmo

My daughter was given the Mattel Barbie loves T.M.X. Elmo doll play set for her birthday this past November. It was given to her as a birth day gift when she turned five years old. My sister in law gave it to her. My sister in law purchased the Mattel Barbie loves T.M.X. Elmo doll play set from the Amazon web site for $16.99. A fair price considering the fact that no stores around here have them.

My daughter Emmily was thrilled to get the Mattel Barbie loves T.M.X. Elmo doll play set. It was one of her favorite gifts that she had gotten that day. The Elmo ended up being her favorite part about it. I found that funny since she is more of a Barbie fan then an Elmo fan these days. She opened this set before any thing else, and had little interest in opening up her other gifts for a while. She continues to play with it nearly every day along with her other Barbie dolls.

The Mattel Barbie loves T.M.X. Elmo doll is wearing a red jacket, black mini skirt, black boots and blue under shirt featuring Elmo on the front of it. She also has on ear rings and a red cap on her head. Her hair is long and blond. Her eyes are blue in color and her make up is not very heavy. This Barbie like most if not all other Barbie dolls, stands 11 inches tall. She can fit in to any other Barbie clothing and other Barbie dolls can fit in to her clothing for a better range of play.

Elmo is only a few inches tall. He can fit in to the T.M.X box that he comes with. It looks like a little silver suit case just like the real T.M.X Elmo doll comes in side of. Elmo is about three to four inches tall. I am lousy with measuring so that is just a guess on my part. He giggles when his belly is pushed. It is very clear. But not very loud, good enough to hear yet not get annoyed by it. He takes watch / hearing aid type batteries. They go in through the battery compartment which you can find in his back. Barbie also comes with an Elmo purse too. It looks like a CD case though.

This play set is recommended for children ages five years old and over. This is due to the small parts that it comes with. There is a choking warning on the out side edge of the box located in the back. And you can read the same warning on the instructions on the in side of the box as well. It is important to follow all warnings when purchasing a toy.

The Mattel Barbie loves T.M.X. Elmo doll play set has certainly gotten it's share of use. It has been one of my daughter's favorite items since she got it. We play with this one at play time together and she also plays with the set alone and with her friends when they visit us. My daughter just loves it and I am glad that she got it. I do highly recommend the Mattel Barbie loves T.M.X. Elmo doll play set.
