Cons: none unless you are not getting married

Review: This is always fun to look through even if I cannot come close to accomplishing this airbrushed perfection in my own wedding. This is the ultimate tasteful, beautiful guide to weddings that look deceptively simple. The magazine is much easier to...

Pros: Attractive, well-written articles, excellent source for ideas
Cons: Ads and some ideas/suggestions are not geared towards budget savvy brides
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The wedding market is saturated with everything from websites to vendors to coordinators to self-help wedding books to magazines. Because of that, it's hard for any one publication that stands out, but the "Martha Stewart Weddings" magazine is the...

Pros: great ideas
Cons: a tad bit costly
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I recently got married (6/24), but when I was planning my wedding, I nearly did a jig each time the new "Martha Stewart's Weddings" would arrive on the grocery store shelf. Each issue is so rich with little tidbits and ideas, you want to get...

Pros: Great ideas, excellent advice, helpful photos, great do-it-yourself projects
Cons: None.
The Bottom Line: Martha Stewart Weddings is one of the best wedding magazines out there. Excellent for any bride, but especially useful to the hands-on bride that loves the little details.

by  forkids ,  Apr 15, 2000
69 out of 69 people found this review helpful.
Pros: Chock full of wedding ideas, exquisite ideas, beautiful layout, and photography
Cons: Some of the cheesy advertisers are still willing to fork over the cost of being in Martha's Magazine
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Well, phew, it?s not me getting married this time but I feel a need to poke my nose in anyhow. One of the first things I buy for anyone I know that just got engaged is a copy of Martha Stewart?s Weddings and if I know them really well and are...

The Bible of wedding magazines

by  lbrookesnow ,  Aug 14, 2008
9 out of 9 people found this review helpful.
Pros: innovative and creative ideas, beautiful spreads, gorgeous theming
Cons: lots of ads, expensive to buy "off the rack"
The Bottom Line: A must buy. I would recommend it above Brides or any other. So much that ever since the loss of Blueprint I would call it Martha's best publication
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Okay, I know Martha doesn't have a huge reputation with the young crowd. I mean, before I read this magazine, whenever I thought of Martha I envisioned a handmade poncho from cell block D. Not really what I'm looking for while planning my dream...

Probably the most useful wedding magazine on the market!

11 out of 11 people found this review helpful.
Pros: Helpful articles, easy DIY projects (you don't have to be Martha!), detailed instructions and pictures
Cons: Has many advertisements, some projects can be hard, single issue purchase can be expensive.
The Bottom Line: If you want to subscribe to a wedding magazine, get MSW because it has helpful tips and articles. If you are serious about saving money, Martha is the best help!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Having planned my wedding for the last 10 or so months, I have given at least a cursory look to almost every wedding magazine I could find on the supermarket shelves. For the most part, each magazine was filled with advertisements for expensive...
