Best game for hours of fun

This is quite possibly the best game I have ever bought. It’s so much fun and keeps you occupied for hours (as long as you don’t tire easily!!). There are many different events to compete in such as trampolining, archery, long jump and hurdles. All of the events use various features of the Wii remote and the nunchuk to give a more interactive gaming experience. Some of the events I found quite difficult to get the hang of at the beginning like the archery and skeet but after persisting worked them out. There are a range of characters to choose from which are all in categories of all-rounder, speed, power and skill types, and if you don’t want to be Sonic or any of his friends you can play as your own Mii character.

We began playing this as multiplayer against each other in which it actually got quite competitive and I got a little down hearted as I was always losing to my partner, but with a bit of secret practice while he was at work I soon improved! Once we had worn out the multiplayer we decided to play the single player and tried to beat the records in each event and earn all the gold medals. There is also a mission mode where you have to complete missions to earn prizes. In single player mode there are the dream games that you unlock which are also very fun to play.

We only bought this game as we had seen it advertised on the telly and thought it looked like a bit of fun, little did we know just how much fun it is. The controls are easy enough for kids to join in and the adults have the competitive urge to always act like a kid to win the medals. A really brilliant well thought out game that I would recommend to anyone that hasn’t already bought it. A*
