A sophisticated, creamy, watery gardenia

The Story
Hi, my name is Stacy, and I am addicted to fragrances.
I recently moved to San Francisco and have at my disposal so many great perfumes. One Saturday, my girlfriend and I went shopping with the expressed interest of buying a perfume for myself. We wandered into the Perfume section of Nordstroms, which is absolutely beautiful.. it contains so many lovely fragrances ranging from mainstream (Angel) to harder to find boutique scents(Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier, Creative Scentualization, etc). I was in perfume heaven, sniffing and sampling for hours. I had finally decided on Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier's Fleur des Comores, a fruity white floral, and Yves St. Laurent Paris as well. We decided to go have lunch, and then I would come back and buy the fragrances.
On the way back, we got sidetracked at Sephora where I started sniffing fragrances again. I stumbled across Marc Jacobs, skeptical, thinking that it would be just another designer dipping into an area that is very profitable.

The Perfume
I was stunned! What I smelled was a creamy, watery, beautiful gardenia scent that is very sophisticated.
It starts out with the straight gardenia, and then morphs into a green watery scent, ending with light musk. I can smell the ginger in it, it is warm and comforting. It is a very feminine scent without being cloying and "old ladyish."
I have to admit, out of all the scents I sniffed that day, the last one I thought I would purchase was Marc Jacobs.

Where to Buy

Sephora
Sephora is one of the most expensive places to buy this perfume, but it is also one of the only places that carries the whole line, which includes:
Lotion, Creme, Hydrating Body Mist, Hair Shine Mist, Body Powder, solid perfume, and a special "Aqua Glow" line that includes a body creme, bath creme, and body scrub.
If you are buying from Sephora, I recommend getting the "On the Go" set, which comes with a purse spray container and .5oz refills for it. Perfect, because I hate lugging around a huge bottle of perfume.

Layering
If you don't want to spend the money on the matching shower gel and lotion, I highly recommend buying ShiKai's White Gardenia lotion and shower gel. The shower gel is amazing. It makes your skin soft, silky and slightly perfumed, and the lotion is great as well. They both complement the scent very nicely.
