Pros: great for all--younglings and adults
Cons: does have roots in Bible--could be offensive [?] to some
Review: The fourth book in the Wrinkle in Time series, this is one book I can happily say does NOT suffer if read out of order! It seems not really to be part of the series in that it focuses on Dennys and Sandy Murry, rather than the other children. If anyone...

Pros: Exceptionally well written; good characters; very accurate from Genesis accounts.
Cons: Atheists may not appreciate the religious theme.
Review: Many Waters, the fourth book in the Wrinkle in Time series, is more of a companion novel than an actual part of the original trilogy. Devoted readers will no doubt miss Meg and Charles Wallace as this book focuses on the twins--Sandy and Dennys.

Pros: A captivating story that draws off of historical and Biblical references. Hard to put down.
Cons: I could not put it down!
The Bottom Line: Many Waters is a suspenseful page turner, clever, spiritual, and heartwarming. Madeleine L'Engle aims to please, and duly hits her mark with this fourth volume of the Time Quartet.
Review: I've been reading Madeleine L'Engle's books since I was about 9 years old. A Wrinkle In Time and A Wind in the Door impressed me, but didn't really capture my interest too much. I've always been more into historical fiction than into science fiction....

Pros: Finally get to know Sandy and Dennys Murray
Cons: This is the only book that really gets the twins involved.
Review: As a companion to A Wrinkle in Time, A Wind in the Door and A Swiftly Tilting Planet, L'Engle returns us to the unique and never boring Murray family. This time, however, she chooses two of the formerly minor characters to write her story about.
