Starting
This game doesn't really have a plot. It's just about cooking and you don't use the buttons. You only use the stylus so the buttons don't come into play.
(If you poke the jumping vegetables on the main screen they will make noise. ^^)

Getting the hang of it
When you first start out your hand will get sore. But I recommend to first choose what you are going to make and poke the 'practice' icon with your stylus. You can choose between all the skills that you use to make this food. But you won't receive an award for it or you won't get a reward dish that you can make. You should begin with the simplest one. You could also try to do the 'Use Skills' icon on the menu screen. You can choose from all the skills that you've used so far.

Skills
The first skills are the easiest like chopping and slicing. But then some new skills appear as you do new dishes. Like washing rice, peeling shrimp, and and seasoning beef. I think the hardest would be skinning potatoes and stewing according to directions.
