Poor performance and consumer relations experience.

I had continual problems with this CD player due to the touch screen, which I'd have to touch several times to get it to perform the function I wanted. I returned it, got a replacement, and continued to experience problems, concluding this was a design defect. Philips consumer department is limited to replacing items, but not cannot resolve problems, such as processing refunds, etc. I wrote two letters to management describing the apparent design problem and asking for a refund, but never received a response. Their consumer exchange department's hands were tied. Extremely poor consumer relations experience--would not purchase from Philips again.
