Magellan RoadMate 2200T Car GPS Receiver

Holy cow, what a Piece of garbage this device is...very disappointed with the performance. First, I purchased this with version 1.62 or 1.68, I can't remember exactly which version, which contained the address of my home, but would unexpectedly reboot sporadically. Upon contacting Magellan support, I was advised to upgrade to version 1.72.18, which I did. Upon upgrading, the device was no longer able to locate my home address. I contacted Magellan support, who insisted nothing had changed. Unfortunately, this got me nowhere and, after several months of dealing with support, I was advised to upgrade to the latest maps and software at the cost of 79.00. Are you kidding me…pay 79.00 to fix the problem with the device, which shouldn't have existed in the first place?!?!? I don't think so…the Garmin or TomTom are now being considered. You may be able to check ebay for the auction of this device soon….
