Pros: Great Flashlight.
Cons: None.
The Bottom Line: It makes a great gift for someone who wants a great small flashlight.
Review: Why This MagLite My main reason for buying this Limited Edition Mini Maglite Solitaire is that I wanted a Maglite to give away as gift since it comes in a nice storage box (that is durable and well made) with one battery included. And the ...

Pros: Durability, Value
Cons: Limited Use
The Bottom Line: The MagLite Solitaire is a little giant among flashlights in its class, worth the cost for their versatility.
Review: You have to love marketing. Whenever a company can make their brand name synonymous with the product, they have scored big. Frankly at my place, there are up to our expectations of that product, like the a few products that we call by the brand name, as ...

Maglite Solitaire - still a great product

Pros: Well built, durable, watertight, reliable, easy to use, focusable beam, relatively small, does many jobs
Cons: Is not as small, bright or have the battery life of a Photon II.
The Bottom Line: I would buy the Solitaire again. It is a great tool and well worth the price if the Photon II is too small or not durable enough for your needs.
Review: I know, I know - this is 2004, for Pete's sake. The Maglite Solitaire is obsolete, out of date, too large, too clumsy, too dim. The only "mini" or "keychain" flashlight for people in the know these days is a Photon II Microlight - right? Smaller, ...

Pros: Small, light, very portable, sufficient light.
Cons: Light is not very bright, twist to turn on.
The Bottom Line: This is a small portable flashlight that is perfect for emergency situations.
Review: Why I own this. Normally I walk through Target, see this flashlight, and decide I need another one. Well that is how I bought my last two. I keep one in my backpack and another in my desk drawer. The first one I owned got lost somewhere ...

Pros: tough; spot to flood; extra bulb in the cap; includes lanyard for keychain
Cons: not bright; T1 bulbs burn out fast/ pop easily
The Bottom Line: A cool little light that really doesn't produce enough light for general purposes....so, yes, it's JUST a keychain light.
Review: The last thing you want is a light that can't help you find your way around in the dark, especially when it's really dark. Even if it's a pocket light....you need some sufficient light. Whenever someone says, "Maglite", a lot of people smile or go ...

Pros: Very small size that doesn't have a wide end.
Cons: Not much light. Won't open if battery corrodes.
The Bottom Line: What good is a flashlight that can't be used in an emergency.
Review: I have aways had a liking for Maglite products. They are a "Man's tool". The feel of them, the machining of them and the looks are first rate. I feel they are above and beyond all of the competition out there. I just have a little problem with this ...

Pros: Uhhh....easy to get. Build Quality
Cons: Beam quality, brightness, battery life, size.
The Bottom Line: There are better lights out there. Buy them. I'd choose any white LED based keychain light over the Mag Solitare.
Review: The Mag Solitaire was the keychain light, running off one AAA battery with a small krypton bulb (Spare in the tail) and being shock proof and water proof and featuring a small body with a continuous diameter (Doesn't get bigger at the head)....
