Tons of glitches and they're very annoying.

Madden NFL 08 is the sequel on the Wii to Madden NFL 07. Most people including myself bought Madden 08 because Madden 07 was a huge success and we thought the this would be a bigger success. It wasn't.

Online Play:
Online play is where you get to play people from around the US, Canada, and Mexico. This wasn't avilable in Madden 07 game for wii. Now, this all sounds good, but it's not. You could only connect about 50% of the time to another player. Gameplay is very slow, not that slow, but slower than 1 player. I will state some of the glitches in online play below.

*1. My arm is spazzing. This glitch is where you hike the ball and it immediently throws it to your primary reciver. This equals almost instant pick.

*2.I need an eye checkup. This glitch happens when you skip the close up cam on 3rd down. The screen gets all blurry for the following play.

3. I will pick your play for you. This glitch happens when you pick your formation and sometimes it thinks you hit it twice. Resulting in a picked play for you in the formation that you picked.

*4. I will kill the air. This happens when you move your arm forward just the slightest bit and it does a big hit/power move whiff. Which slows down your player greatly.

5. 1st and -10. This glitch happens when you throw a pick and when the defender has it, it goes to whatever down it was and however yards it was to a negative.

*6. Kick the stupid ball. This is when you constantly swing your arm up to kick, then it doesn't kick. On about the the 6th swing, you get a poor kick. Very annoying.

Franchise mode:
Franchise mode remains untouched from Madden 07. If this is your first madden game, I will explain it. Franchise mode is where you take over a team and try to make it a good team. You could continue the franchise for as many seasons as you want. You can choose to play the game your team plays, total control simulate it, or just simulate it.
Total control simulation is where you call the plays and the substuites etc. but your players execute, not you. Simulate is where you don't call any of the shots, it just ends the game by whatever team and score will win. You can also do a fantasy draft instead of going with a team's current day rosters.

Superstar mode:
Superstar mode once again, remains untouched from 07. Here's what it is. Superstar mode is where you create a player and act like your getting drafted by the NFL. Some things that affect how good your player is is who your parents are, how much time you spend practice (practice makes perfect, or at least close to it). This is a very cool mode.

Features:
It seems like they took away more features than they added.
Added: Bluff play, Telestrator, party mode, online play, and player weapons.

Took away: Create A Player, Create a team, create a playbook, and the no glitchness of 07.

Bluff play is in a game where you play against a friend not online, it gets annoying when you bring up the play art and he/she sees your play. That's why they invented bluff play. Now you either could show your real play, or show other fake plays to get them off track. The telestrator is that in party mode, when you pull off a big play, it will let you draw on the screen to show what each player did on that play, just like John Madden. Party mode is where you team up with a friend or two or three and you could play him/her with the telestrator, have a mini game compotion, or do football/madden trivia. Party mode is a huge up for this game. Player weapons are who your player truly is. If you hit the coach's cam, you'll see icons come over players head. A star means they're very good (LT,Peyton,Marvin etc.) A shoe with a wing means he's very fast but missing other qualitys to have a star(Plaxico, Vince Young etc.) You could find all other player weapons at the madden website which is www.easports.com/maddennfl/home.jsp
