Mad About AMC TV's Mad Men

Pros: Outstanding acting, sets and costumes, attention to historical detail and social attitudes of the times.
Cons: It's only on one night per week.
The Bottom Line: Mad Men is a look back at fast-track Madison Avenue life circa 1960 with talented cast, compelling story lines and insight into our parents' worlds.

Pros: cast, look (I think the writing is overrated!)
Cons: the era's sexism, racism, anti-Semitism, and homophobia are painful to have recalled
The Bottom Line: I am ambivalent about going to zoos and don't  like being involved with these characters, well-acted as they are.
