Inexpensive Alternative

Pros: Inexpensive and simple to use.

Cons: Bad reputation, it's flash memory what did you expect?

The Bottom Line: Inexpensive and worth a try even though they have a bad rep amongst most gamers.

I don't like to spend a lot of money on accessories for my Playstations. I usually go third party on everything except the controllers. For some reason, I like Mad Catz memory cards.

I've own only a couple over the last 4 years and I have never lost any data. I guess I'm lucky.

I really have no complaints about Mad Catz 1mb Memory cards except the fear that i'll lose everything but hey, that's kind of expected to eventually happen with flash memory cards!

I bought mine at a wholesale show for $9 a pop back in 1998 so even if they didn't work very well (which they didn't) I wouldn't feel like an idiot paying up to $30 for Sony cards.

I've been happy with my purchase, I hope you are.
