The Ultimate Umbrella Stroller

Date of Review:  Sep 30, 2004
Review: I adore our Maclaren Volo!! It folds with incredible ease to a very compact size. It is the very lightweight and has a good size basket. The fabric is easy to clean and stays dry. Handles with ease. It is not suitable for a baby that doesn't sit on...

great upgrade from an inexpensive umbrella stroller

Date of Review:  May 2, 2007
The Bottom Line: i would recommend if you don't mind overpaying a bit
Review: I purchased the Volo (in orange) as a lightweight stroller for travel. My son was 4 1/2 when we purchased it. Our regular stroller was a Peg Perego Pliko and I was looking for something a little easier to travel with now that my son was older. I...

Well worth the money!

Date of Review:  Jan 2, 2004
The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this stroller. The light weight and overall ease of use make it a great stroller not only for traveling, but for everyday use as well.
Review: 4/24/09 update
Just wanted to let people know that this stroller is STILL in service. It's currently carting my 3 year old newphew around. It still looks and performs like new. You'd never know it was a 6 year old stroller.

This stroller rocks!!

Date of Review:  Mar 24, 2004
Review: In the three years since our son was born, we've gone through quite a few strollers (one for grandma's house, one for mom's car, one for dad's car, etc.). But the MacClaren is the workhorse of our collection. It's light, portable, easy to open and...

THE BEST Stroller for 12 months - 3 years

Date of Review:  Jul 21, 2008
Review: I have purcahsed four strollers, and this by far is the best. At eight lbs it is light, agile and built like Fort Knox. My husband is a engineer and he loves it as well (which is saying alot!)

To Volo or Not To Volo - That is the question

Date of Review:  Jul 14, 2002
The Bottom Line: A stroller that my husband does not mind to push when we go out.
Review: Now that my daughter is getting older, her stroller needs are changing. At times she is more than willing to ride in a stroller, other times she rather just walk. I was finding that taking her stroller into and out of the car becoming more and more...

My favorite

Date of Review:  Jan 7, 2005
Review: I have two children that are under the age of 4 so I have been through quite a few strollers in the last few years. I have to say that the Maclaren Volo is my absolute favorite. Although it would probably not be good for a small baby, I would say...

Great Stroller

Date of Review:  Apr 15, 2004
Review: The stroller is great, good quality, light to carry, smooth to push, easy fold up. Its handles come up higher than with other strollers, so you can actually walk with it and not just slump hunched over. The harness has a real safe feeling to it. I...

The Mercedes of Strollers - The Maclaren Volo

Date of Review:  May 21, 2004
The Bottom Line: If you need an umbrella stroller more than once a year, this should be your first choice.
Review: I d suffered through over a year of our horrible Evenflo stroller. The design was so poor that there was very little I liked about it, even though it was used every few weeks at most. Determined to find something better, I quickly came across...

Great for large babies and taller parents.

Date of Review:  Dec 28, 2005
The Bottom Line: The best choice for any chubby - tall babies with tall parents. Super light, high quality, great for everyday.
Review: My 1 year old daughter was 32lbs and 33" tall. We had definately outgrown her Graco travel system stroller and I was looking for an umbrella stroller that could handle our robust baby, plus I wanted something lighter. Another huge factor was I am...
