The Maclaren Volo ? Highly Recommended
Date of Review: Mar 21, 2003
The Bottom Line: Although this is more expensive then the typical umbrella stroller, it is worth every penny. I highly recommend this stroller.
When my daughter turned 2, we started looking for a new stroller. We had the Graco Sterling LiteRider Stroller, but we wanted to get a smaller, umbrella type stroller. We tried out some of the cheaper umbrella strollers and were really unhappy with them. We are tall people and needed a stroller easy us to push. We also wanted a stroller that was light, easy to fold up and easy for our daughter to get in and out of.. We saw the Maclaren Volo and fell in love with it. It has everything that we were looking for. My daughter is also big for her age. She is 2, but weights 34 lbs and is 37 inches tall. She fits very nicely in the seat and can use the foot rest comfortably. And although the seat does not recline, she can still comfortably nap in the stroller. I highly recommend this stroller
it is all that we hoped for and more!
There is no assembly required, just open the box and you're ready to go.
Easy and comfortable to be pushed by tall parents.
Extremely lightweight – only 8 lbs.
Opens and closes very easily and has a built-in carrying strap.
Has a lightweight, mesh seat – child keeps cool and easy to clean.
Has a harness that can be used as a 5-point harness or just like a lap belt.
Swivel wheels which also lock – work really well- this stroller turns on a dime!
Nice size basket under stroller to carry things with you.
Can be used for a baby as young as 6 months old.
Very sturdy and safe stroller.
You can also purchase an accessory pack which includes a rain cover, seat liner, sun canopy and storage bag.
