The Mercedes of Strollers - The Maclaren Volo

Date of Review:  May 21, 2004
The Bottom Line: If you need an umbrella stroller more than once a year, this should be your first choice.
Review: I d suffered through over a year of our horrible Evenflo stroller. The design was so poor that there was very little I liked about it, even though it was used every few weeks at most. Determined to find something better, I quickly came across...

To Volo or Not To Volo - That is the question

Date of Review:  Jul 14, 2002
The Bottom Line: A stroller that my husband does not mind to push when we go out.
Review: Now that my daughter is getting older, her stroller needs are changing. At times she is more than willing to ride in a stroller, other times she rather just walk. I was finding that taking her stroller into and out of the car becoming more and more...

Much better strollers out there for much less than $99

Date of Review:  Jul 28, 2004
The Bottom Line: Problems include: no sunshade, no one hand fold, awful designed difficult buckle, no recline, no seat fabric, no basket, etc.
Review: We received this as a gift but would never have bought it on our own. Here's a list of the pros & cons with this stroller that I have noticed running it around the house & trying to put my baby in it.

Pros:
Quality small tires

Very nice

Date of Review:  Jun 27, 2002
The Bottom Line: We have no regrets over this purchase.
Review: We bought this stroller before embarking on a trip east to visit parents, friends, etc. It's really a very handy gadget: easy to travel width, easy to fold up and fold out. We looked at the Combi travel-stroller and it just didn't seem as sturdy;...

The Maclaren Volo ? Highly Recommended

Date of Review:  Mar 21, 2003
The Bottom Line: Although this is more expensive then the typical umbrella stroller, it is worth every penny. I highly recommend this stroller.
Review: When my daughter turned 2, we started looking for a new stroller. We had the Graco Sterling LiteRider Stroller, but we wanted to get a smaller, umbrella type stroller. We tried out some of the cheaper umbrella strollers and were really unhappy with...

Worth every penny!

Date of Review:  Oct 30, 2006
Review: Fabulous light weight stroller that folds up with one foot/hand. It even has a strap to carry it on your shoulder when folded. The mesh seat is comfortable and airy on hot days. It also gives you the option of buying a baby store cushion insert if...

Works for baby and mama too

Date of Review:  Apr 5, 2004
The Bottom Line: Top of the line, dependable, basic umbrella stroller to take that soon to be toddler into the future.
Review: We inherited a jogging stroller and a big Combi stroller. While the Combi was relatively light, it wasn't an umbrella stroller and was only practical when our son was in his infant carrier. The jogging stroller is great for long walks, but it isn't...

Volo - good entry-level Maclaren

Date of Review:  Feb 3, 2004
The Bottom Line: The Volo is a great city stroller for older babies and toddlers.
Review: Two kids, five car seats and four strollers later, we have finally figured out what works.

We own a Maclaren Techno and Maclaren Volo. I will not review the Techno, because the version we have is no longer available (ours is the 2001...

Glad I bought this as my first umbrella stroller

Date of Review:  Mar 28, 2008
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this stroller because you get the Maclaren quality at such an affordable price.
Review: Guilty of stroller envy
As a new mom, I eyed all the different strollers that were out in the market, and I had mad stroller envy when I would see anyone walking by with a Maclaren. I have a small car (see my other review on the Grace...

great upgrade from an inexpensive umbrella stroller

Date of Review:  May 2, 2007
The Bottom Line: i would recommend if you don't mind overpaying a bit
Review: I purchased the Volo (in orange) as a lightweight stroller for travel. My son was 4 1/2 when we purchased it. Our regular stroller was a Peg Perego Pliko and I was looking for something a little easier to travel with now that my son was older. I...
