Product Review

Don't bother

by   ampa88 ,   Sep 14, 2007

Pros:  Good for taller parents. Pockets on canopies. Didn't tip over like singles.

Cons:  No storage under the stroller. Heavy. Hard to maneuver.

The Bottom Line:  I would not recommend this to anyone who lives in the city.

Overall Rating: 2/5 stars

Author's Review

I received this stroller as a gift after our second child was born. I sold it a couple of months after and got the peg perego duette -- the one with the steering wheel. The Maclaren wouldn't fit through our apartment door nor the doors into/out of our building. We'd have to fight with it and maneuver it to get it in and out of the doorways. It wouldn't fit through checkout at grocery store. It was a pain to recline -- you have to use both hands to do so. This stroller is also very narrow (our oldest who was 2 at the time and a bit big for her age couldn't sit or sleep in it very comfortably; she always looked scrunched. It was hard to maneuver especially with 2 kids of varying weights.

The amount of storage under the stroller was terrible. Couldn't fit anything in basket under the seats and forget about getting to it if the seats were reclined. At least this stroller is a bit heavier in the front so that it doesn't tip over (as easily) if you have a diaper bag or any other hanging on it like the Techno single does.
