The risk may be worth it!

The Bottom Line: I recommend it mainly because of price. The picture is nice. I feel the risk is well worth the possible reward, which is a working DVD player (hopefully 3 years).
Review: My other cheap Chinese DVD player broke in my room and I needed a quick and cheap replacement. I figured I would give this a try.

Doesn't work

Review: Bought it. Brought it home. Took it out of the box. Hooked it up. Put a DVD from a rental place into it. Machine spit it out. Put another DVD into it. Machine spit it out. Tried to close the DVD tray without a DVD in it and it opened right back up...

Don't buy Memorex DVD players

Review: My Memorex DVD player was a little over a year old and hardly used. It worked on the few time I used it. Then one day it just kept spinning the DVD and never loaded it. Memorex makes junk.

Sliding tray refused to open a few months after purchase

Review: I watch approximately 5-6 films a week. At first, this machine did everything I needed it to - it played the film. There were some unusual glitches that other reviewers mentioned regarding subtitles, but that didn't disturb my enjoyment of the film...
