Babies and their binkies
Our baby is like most babies in that she uses a binky (otherwise known as a pacifier). She is different than my son in that he had that binky in his mouth 24/7 and she can either take it or leave it. Sometimes though she will chew on it and you think she is going to keep it in her mouth and as soon as you turn away... OUT it goes... onto the floor. Ugh. I am not a Mommy that washes a binky everytime it falls on the floor at home... but when we are out, I don't want it on the ground. So, one day at home I remembered that I had this pacifier keeper in a drawer I keep extra baby supplies (or things we didn't use with my son) and I decided to get it out and give it a try.

MAM Pacifier Keeper
This pacifier keeper is ingenious. The product is a piece of plastic that fits around any pacifier (by Sassy). Then it has a ribbon attached to another piece of plastic (clip fastener) slides and tightens onto baby's clothes (or bib). The clip fastener works well on any clothing and doesn't have any sharp edges that could hurt your child.

Our experience
We actually use Avent binkies (pacifiers) and they fit on them just fine. Often times our daughter wears a bib because of how frequent she spits up so we just attach the pacifier keeper to that. We were very happy to have this so we don't have to bend over with her in our arms to pick up the binky and because this keeps the binky so much cleaner! It doesn't affect her whether it is on or off so we are glad it doesn't bother her at all. The only times I find myself removing it are when she is practicing rolling over (and I don't want her rolling on it) or when she is nursing and I want to pull her close without pushing plastic up against her.

A word of caution
Since there is a ribbon on this product you need to be careful about not putting it too close (or around) the baby's neck. This can cause strangulation if tied around the neck.

Affordable
I don't have the exact price of this item but I know it runs for $3-4 and is very affordable. Plus the peace of mind it gives you is priceless.

This is a great product that works well in helping to keep your child's binky clean. We highly recommend it.
