Good vacuum for a low price

I got this vacuum because I was moving into a new apartment on my own. Previously, I had either shared a vacuum with the entire floor, or my roommates had brought one. So this is the first vacuum that I've actually owned.

It's very light. The name "Featherlite" is no exaggeration. Not only could I pick it up with no difficulty, I could easily hoist the entire thing over my shoulder if need be. And I'm not physically strong, so that's saying something. The power button is located on next to the handle release, so you can tap it with your foot to turn the power on and off. There's also a hose and nozzles for hard to reach places. It's a pretty powerful vacuum as well. It takes a couple passes to pick up some things, but it does pick them up. The cord is twenty-five feet long, and the unit uses the U style bags. The motor is 12A.

The only bad thing about this vacuum is that it's very loud. Louder than any other vacuum I've owned anyway. So if you're in an apartment don't use it at night or at other times when you might be disturbing someone. Because it will disturb them.

This vacuum was the cheapest choice I found, which is actually the main reason I bought it. But it still gets the job done. I would say if you're a college or grad student looking for inexpensive appliances to start your home with, this is a good choice.
