THE REAL REVIEW

Date of Review:  Nov 25, 2001
The Bottom Line: IF THIS WAS LONGER - IT COULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH MORE.
Review: So hear it is, the first Gamecube game launched. The long awaited flagship title since N64's unbelievable Super Mario 64.... WRONG. Luigi's Mansion is a great game but it's way too short. It's like finding 30 of the 120 stars in Mario 64 or passing...

Date of Review:  Jun 26, 2003
The Bottom Line: Luigi's mansion is average.
Review: Ok I decided to rent it last weekend. I knew Luigi's Mansion was one of the first games on the gamecube and I wanted to see how it compared to Mario Sunshine. Well I heard it was easier then Mario Sunshine but I wonder how much so I decided to try...

Its a good game, the first few hours.

Date of Review:  Mar 30, 2002
The Bottom Line: I give it four stars. It is short and frustrating, but fun nonetheless. The replay value is low, but it is good the first time through.
Review: The first Luigi solo game was a good one. Basically it was not in the Mario Adventures ballpark, but it set a start. Well, it all starts with a "contest". Luigi never actually enters it, (Suspicious) but yet he wins the grand prize. A huge mansion!...

This Game Is for Rent, No Need To Own It Really...

Date of Review:  Nov 22, 2001
The Bottom Line: Luigi's Mansion must be played atleast once. But its short with no replay value so I suggest you rent it and only buy it if you are a hardcore fan.
Review: -After a few too many ?Helpful? ratings and not enough ?Very Helpful? I decided to do a re-write. I hope it benefits. =)

Luigi's debut on the GameCube is a fun adventure that just doesn't last long enough.

Date of Review:  Dec 17, 2001
The Bottom Line: Nintendo fans will definitely want to check this one out, but you're definitely better off renting it.
Review: Luigi's Mansion marks a milestone in Nintendo's history. It is the first time a Nintendo system has not launched with a Mario title. So the question on everyone's mind is whether or not Luigi can fill those shoes. Unfortunately the answer is no...

Is Nintendo's first Luigi game worth the fifty bucks?

Date of Review:  Jan 2, 2002
The Bottom Line: This game is Nintendo quality, but the short length and monotonous nature of the title hinder its fun factor. Might want to rent first.
Review: When I first heard that Luigi?s Mansion would be a separate game and not an actual level in a new, flagship Nintendo title to launch with the Nintendo GameCube, I was pretty shocked. I thought that Nintendo had lost their minds (and this was before...

Luigi Gets to Shine

Date of Review:  Jan 5, 2002
The Bottom Line: This game is great for younger Nintendo fans but may not be as enjoyable for the older Nintendo audiences. It is pretty short but is still an alright game.
Review: Luigi's Mansion is one of the first games released for Nintendo's new GameCube. The game involves Luigi searching through a mansion he has apparently won, capturing ghosts, hoping to find Mario who has disappeared from the mansion. The game is...

Luigi's Cheap Mansion

Date of Review:  Jul 18, 2004
Review: I bought this game for $13 bucks at my local Gamestop. It was fun at first then it became addicting. I beat the game and tried to play it again, but I just didn't find it as fun. If you like mario and think this game is like it, think again. This...

Luigi's Mansion: The Price Tag is Scarier Than the House...

Date of Review:  Feb 6, 2002
The Bottom Line: Luigi's Mansion is a fun game the first time through, but doesn't deliver enough replay value to be worth $50.
Review: Poor Luigi. For over fifteen years he's had to stand by and watch as his brother Mario starred in game after game after game, on every Nintendo system known to man, while he, at best, got second billing, or, at worst, was excluded entirely. For all...

Who Ya Gonna Call Ghostbu--- LUIGI

Date of Review:  Nov 6, 2009
Review: Luigi's Mansion is a charming adventure game focusing on ridding a mansion of ghosts. When his brother Mario is grabbed, younger brother Luigi must step into the limelight and save the day. The visuals and lightning are beautiful.
