Great sounding speakers

Owning these speakers for several years, they are still the best to me. It has been reliable up to now, produces excellent sound and bass, and provides great looks. The control pod has plenty of features such as several different inputs available, effects, and a remote control for it. The speakers is also built so that they can be wall mounted if desired. MP3 players like the iPod can easily be plugged in for listening to music. The control pod allows you to plug in headphones if you wish too. The clean sound this system produces easily surpasses many other cheaper sound systems for the PC. The Z-5500 does a great job at being a great home theater solution for the desktop environment. More speakers like these should be produced for those wanting high-end sound for gaming and movies.
The build quality on these speakers are great. They still look and feel brand new almost with care given to them since day one. Being able to connect to optical and coaxial sources is also a big plus. You can easily plug in your gaming console into the control pod too if you wish. The subwoofer can deliver decent effects with the clean bass it produces.
