good cam for a good price

I was going to buy a higher end cam but the one I wanted was out of stock so I decided to settle for this one. It was only like $30 so I figured I would give it a shot. As a bonus it came bundled with a headset and clip for a laptop or flat screen monitor.

Installation was a breeze on xp pro. It comes with simple easy to use software that lets you capture frames and e-mail pics and also record videos as avi.

I wasn't really expecting much but was very surprised with the good vid quality. the cam works great with yahoo messenger,msn,iSpq, dwyco and camfrog.

As with all logitech cams the the base for the cam is kind of awkward and hard to position. but ive found that once you get is set how you like it you pretty much leave it there anyway.

The headset is nothing fancy, just an ear piece and a mic that clips around your ear. I found it to be fairly comfortable and is so small that people don't really notice that your wearing it. the only flaw I have with it is that the mic volume level is kinda low so you need to play with your mic/audio settings to get it to a decent level.

Another con is the usb cable is too short and it barely reached my monitor. The cable is built in to the cam so it can't be replaced with a longer one. the headset wires are to short as well. I had to pic up an extension at radio shack.

overall im very satisfied with my purchase and I would highly recommend this cam.
