This works fairly well ***Updated July 2009

Date of Review:  Jan 16, 2006
The Bottom Line: Not worth buying. The 2wire unit (linked in epinion) is far superior.
Review:
Update July 2009
This unit stopped working after about a year and a half and I replaced it with the 2Wire 2701 HGB Wireless Router. While D-link does provide cost effective product, their stuff does wear out. I no longer recommend this...

Excellent Wireless Router for a Bargain!

Date of Review:  Aug 11, 2003
The Bottom Line: DI-624 is like Frosted Flakes. GRRRRReat!
Review: I've been a Linksys broadband router user for some time now, first with a 4-port hardwired unit, then upgrading to a BEFW11S4 V.2 wireless 11mbps model. Now that I'm moving to a larger home with lots more area to roam with the laptop or Ipaq...

Its working now!

Date of Review:  May 19, 2005
The Bottom Line: Not a bad deal for $39 after rebates. Does require extensive configuration to work correctly with highest security encryption.
Review: Boy, what an experience. I really regret writing a negative review about this product, because I like it and was hoping it would work great out of the box. But as you will see as you read on, that was not the case. Bear in mind, I do not have...

Premium Keyboard/Mouse Combo at a Premium Price

Date of Review:  Mar 17, 2006
The Bottom Line: If you can afford it, you should buy it. There is simply no better designed keyboard/mouse combo out there.
Review: I did quite a bit of research before buying my Logitech DiNovo Bluetooth Keyboard/Mouse combo. I was looking for the best combo out there, and I think I've found it.

Keyboard:
Unlike other clunky, button-filled keyboards on the...

Works Great - with Latest Firmware Installed

Date of Review:  Dec 24, 2005
The Bottom Line: Buy this one and keep up with the firmware updates!
Review: I've been using this router for about a month with great results.

Out of the box, the router(which came with firmware 2.42) was pretty easy to set up and I had it up and running within an hour. It seems that the newest revisions of this...

headache (don't feel it anymore)

Date of Review:  Dec 10, 2003
The Bottom Line: good hardware, buggy firmware, worth buying
Review: LAST update: (Apr 16, 2006) I can't believe it's been more than 2 years since I wrote this review. Over these 2 years, I haven't really bothered with my D-Link setup. It just works without any problems. I'm very happy with it. I probably upgraded...

Infuriatingly inconsistent

Date of Review:  Feb 1, 2005
The Bottom Line: Don't buy this router. It's unusable for anyone unwilling to spend more time futzing with their router than they do online.
Review: I read a few reviews before picking this router up. I had a Netgear in hand, but I'd had less-than-stellar experience with their products in the past, so I went with this one. From day one, I had problems. Though my computer was only in the next...

Big piece of junk

Date of Review:  Apr 20, 2004
The Bottom Line: Do not buy this, get a linksys or a buffalo
Review: I got this router over Christmas in 03 and also a Microsoft wireless card (mn-720) at the same time. Initially the router was working fine with its current firmware (2.27) and i was using standard 128bit encryption. The setup was relatively quick...

Buyer beware

Date of Review:  Apr 22, 2005
The Bottom Line: Save your money and buy a different product.
Review: I will start of by saying that I purchased the unit as I had a good experience with my original 802.11b, and thought going to Super G would be just better.

Had I have known what I was getting, i should have stuck with my old unit.

Not as good as expected!!!

Date of Review:  Aug 21, 2003
The Bottom Line: Recommended for simple home network and share internet but not for some serious network environment.
Review: Every thing has got its good and bad side but DI-624 disappointed me a lot. I'm from UK so don't know about the US version of DI-624 but I don't think it'll make a big difference. Bought it just three days back and had to send it back yesterday. May...
