Nice budget pad, suffers common d-pad issues

Picked it up locally for a quick bit of cash. Set up was a breeze, thanks partly to Direct-X et all.

Does the job in a pinch, but like so many pads there's too little room for wiggle if you're trying to hit a single direction. If you want precise control, think about spending more or finding something that you can easily push a specific direction the first time every time.

Further; the buttons aren't the tightest, so if you need speed I would suggest looking elsewhere than these marshmallows.

A final note: non-analog controllers are limited in their use. Think about whether you could be happy spending a little more for something with an analog stick or two, especially if it has an equal or better d-pad included. (equal or better to this wingman I'm reviewing)
