Pros: One button access to set equipment for each activity. This is wonderful
Cons: Poor instructions with remote. Small LCD may be difficult to read if you need glasses.
The Bottom Line: Very capable of configuring multiple devices with the push of one button. Reduced remotes used from 4 to 1 and retains all functions for each device.
Review: Setup: Samsung DSP Television 52' JVC AV with Bose 1500 surround system Sony DVD Player Bright House HD DVR Configuration: Bright House HD DVR is always on. Not configured into remote used for activities of watching TV and listening to music. ...

Pros: It Actually WORKS it does what its supposed to do!
Cons: Backlight could stay on longer
A bit slippery
Buttons small and similar shape
The Bottom Line: Highly Recommended
Review: We love this remote! Our video setup includes a Panasonic Plasma TV, a Yamaha Receiver, a cable-company (Rogers/Scientific Atlanta) PVR and an LG DVD Recorder. Desperate for an answer to our 4-remote video setup but still feeling the sting of ...

Pros: Easy setup, good button layout and simplified controls.
Cons: none that I have seen yet
The Bottom Line: A definite buy. Does exactly what I need it to do. Was able to throw four remotes into the closet!!
Review: Spent about 5 minutes setting this thing up and it works great. All you need to know is the model number of the devices you want to control, answer a few basic questions about how your system is set up and it programs the remote for you. ...

Pros: Easy to use, wide compatibility, advanced functions, durable, good battery life
Cons: No Bluetooth, slow response time, must be pointed at home theatre system to work
The Bottom Line: This is a great remote for simplifying the control of your home theatre system, as long as you can deal with a few annoyances.
Review: Though my husband and I tried to keep our latest home entertainment purchase simple, our best intentions don’t always match our actions. My husband and I recently purchased a Samsung 40" LCD TV in hopes of ...

Pros: So simple and easy, my 7yo uses it with no effort!
Cons: Sometimes gets confused about device states. IDK how you'd set it up without a PC..
The Bottom Line: Easy to set up with a PC, if you don't, then IDK.. VERY easy to use!
Review: I got one of these when I got an hdtv to eliminate the 5 remotes I'd otherwise be using.. It is now controlling my tv, HD DVR, VCR, DVD player, cd player, and receiver with little effort. This particular Harmony remote is the best one for Tivos/DVR's - ...

Pros: Easy to use once you learn where buttons are placed.
Cons: Won't work PS3 without workaround
The Bottom Line: Except that it won't run the PS3, it's a great remote. I wish it had RF control instead of IR, but that's not a big deal for me personally.
Review: The good: The Logitech Harmony 670 is a throwback to the comfortable peanut-shape design of old, with DVR-friendly buttons placed in the center. It retains the same great features and functionality that the Harmony line is known for, such as activity or ...

Does what I wanted.

Pros: Design is comfortable and functional.
Works as advertised (eventually).
Most commands were in the database.
Cons: Software finicky & Internet connection REQUIRED.
'Trial and error' time for tuning macros required.
The Bottom Line: Recommended. It does what it says it does. But, due to the $130 (or more) investment, it's probably not everyone's best fit for a 'remote consolidation' project.
Review: I bought this remote due to my spouses frustration with three (or more) remotes being needed to control various equipment based on what we were trying to do. I'm sure you know the story... TV remote, DVD remote, TiVo remote. --Intro: This remote ...

Pros: Once programmed, it can make even complicated AV setups easy to use.
Cons: Programming and help screens can be ponderous, and the remote doesn't always work perfectly.
The Bottom Line: This remote can be a useful tool, but it's not always completely accurate in its execution. That's a frustrating reality for an expensive accessory.
Review: I proudly have numerous remote controls on display in my den. My wife, however, does not share my pride -- she finds the collection to be annoying. A friend had a solution: the Logitech Harmony 670 remote control. What better way to satisfy all parties ...

Pros: Advanced Features, ease of watching a movie without turning on three devices
Cons: not good with off brands, lack of off/on buttons per device
The Bottom Line: Unless you really need a one touch solution to watch a dvd, find a cheaper remote.
Review: I bought my Logitech Harmony 670 on sale at best buy for $119.00 last week. After reading positive reviews on other sites, it seemed to be the way to go for my solution, however the results I wanted were never obtained. On the surface, the Harmony is ...

Pros: Has eliminated a table full of remotes on some difficult to control devices.
Cons: Battery life is not great, I'm still undecided on it's durability.
The Bottom Line: I'd recommend this remote if you have a lot of difficult to control devices and want to consolidate remotes. I'd rate it higher if the buttons were more durable.
Review: Our main TV setup consists of a "home theater in a box" by Sony, a Time Warner Cable DVR, and a Samsung Television. The TV is all menu operated, the DVR requires a ton of special buttons, and the Sony DVD/surround system is a strange combination of ...
