The Bottom Line: One of the best mice out there. Easy to use.
After having my third Apple Mouse start having issues with the scroll wheel, I decided that it was time to find a new mouse. The biggest reason why I didn't leave the Apple Mouse was because of the horizontal scrolling. I have since found my solution with this mouse.
To start off, the battery life is quite good and the accuracy and durability is even better. I especially love the scroll wheel because you can "lean" it left and right to scroll horizontally which I actually find more effective than the 4 way wheel on the Apple Mouse.
There are only 2 minor things that I would change about it but these are absolutely not deal breakers for me and I still say it's the best mouse I've ever used. The first is the left and right buttons (button, not the wheel). Many mice I've had previously had a thumb button and I always used that button as the back button in my brower. This mouse has the 2 buttons on top of the mouse below the wheel. To be honest after a few weeks I have become totally used to this placement but I think that I would still prefer it on the thumb. The second issue is that I would add a connect button between it and it's receiver. I had a lot of issues on my Mac with getting the 2 to talk to each other. I bought the mouse refurbed and its possible that the retail packages come pre-synced but the OSX "Connect Utility" has never worked for me on either my iMac or my MacBook. The Logitech control panel, however, works fine. I ended up using a windows computer to sync the mouse with its dongle and it's never needed resynced once.
