Bought a refurbished set from the Apple store because it was $30 off. I got home and found a small split in the plastic that goes around the back of the headset.
Returned them and got a new set. After about 8-9 times of using them (5-7 hour hours of use), I looked and noticed a split starting in the exact same place. Needless to say they are going back. For the $150 they cost, you would think that would have been noticed by someone in the development team and a thick mold in the plastic would be there to fix the issue.
The speakers for the ears are very heavy which may contribute to how the plastic gets torqued in the weakest spot. the charger was sufficient, small, compact and supposedly the setup will play for 8 hours. I personally used them for about 6 hours and they were still going strong. Unfortunately the rechargeable batteries are NOT REPLACEABLE. How long will they last, I do not know. The warranty is good for 2 years for the product.
The transceiver says it's good for 30 ft, personally I got up to around 60 feet before it faded and disconnected.
If you like you volume up loud, this is not the set for you. it do do a good job of a bit above normal.
