Disappointing

The Bottom Line: It is a cute film for children who don't pick up on all the small idiosyncrasies, but not for an older audience.
Review: Disney should have left well enough alone. The Little Mermaid has always been recognized as a wonderful film with very few faults, the sequel, The Little Mermaid 2 : Return to the Sea, is not anywhere near as good.

Cute, but not quite as good as #1

The Bottom Line: Rent it, but do that before you buy it.
Review: My daughter must be the biggest Ariel fan around. She is 2 1/2 and adores the mischevious-but-sweet, red-headed Disney Princess. Her fascination with "The Little Mermaid" amazed my husband and I. Thus our decision to purchase the sequel.
