Linn's Stamp News Magazine

Linn's is a great resource for any stamp collector. There is alot of general information about stamps, shows and books. There tends to be a lot of focus on modern US material and the antics of the management of USPS.

I am a topical collector and most major stamp papers don't cover topicals very well, Linn's does have a column or two and the general articles about postal history are VERY helpful.

Each month they have a refresher column that goes back to basics as well as a column of letters from people who are stumped trying to find out about a specific stamp or postal marking which is really interesting!

I have enjoyed the postal history articles, completely amazed by the depth of knowledge shown by the writers and amazed by the history of the mails.

A lot of the paper is dedicated to ads, which are helpful if there arent stamp dealers in your area. They also list many local stamp shows which are always a great afternoon, or even day in the case of the big shows!

I also enjoy it because even tho I dont get a lot of time to work on my collection, I get the paper each week and keep my hand in.
