Linksys WRT54GS Wireless Router

The Linksys WRT54GS Wireless-G Broadband Router with SpeedBooster is an upgrade of the WRT54G series, giving a 35% boost, and well worth the cost.  If you use Comcast cable with speedboost as I do then why not use a speed boost router.  Believe me, the Linksys WRT54GS Wireless-G Broadband Router is faster and as all linksys routers it is great value for money.

When I was shopping for a router I had a few things in mind; speed, security,ease of use and cost.  The Linksys WRT54GS Wireless-G Broadband Router gave me all of this; it's speedboost really does make it fast and adds to my computers already great speed, it's encryption security can be set as high as you like making it almost unhackable, the installation disk that comes with the Linksys WRT54GS Wireless-G Broadband Router allows even a technophobe to install it and the price is very reasonable.

I have the Linksys WRT54GS Wireless-G Broadband Router hardwired to my PC and I have my laptop, Xbox360 connected to the wireless network and never have any problems with connectivity.  As the Linksys WRT54GS Wireless-G Broadband Router has 4 ports in the rear I could connect a lot more.  I am very pleased with my router and would recommend it to all people shopping for a new router as long as you are using Wireless-G devices (or less - running a Wireless-N device would obviously reduce it's efficiency)

The Linksys WRT54GS Wireless-G Broadband Router is also a "good neighbor" as it can be set to various channels.  When I first set up my router it was interfering with my neighbor's network and his with mine.  2 minutes later and 4 easy walked through steps and my network was on a whole new channel.

I have had the Linksys WRT54GS Wireless-G Broadband Router for over a year and have had no major problems with it.  On 2 occasions I had to re-boot the router, but apart from that it has worked perfectly all year.  There have been no brown outs, no dips in speed and no technical problems what so ever.  I am 100% happy with the performance of the Linksys WRT54GS Wireless-G Broadband Router and would recomend it to everybody who is looking for that extra ounce of speed.
