Linksys Wireless G for Small Home Office setup

I had recently brought a laptop for use at my company and it had wireless capability and needed an inexpensive wireless router, so after doing my research and asking some tech guys. I looked into the Linksys WRT54G router. Brought it from Best buy on sale for around $45, which was good compared to other stores and online sellers. Once I got it back to my office I took it out of the box and plugged it straight in to my network. I was able to configure the routers setting and security with little to no hassle. But I would recommend that if you have little to no experience with routers and wireless routers to read threw the manual. Some of the settings could be a little confusing to some.
Once all was set up, I was able to connect to the router with no problem. I get good to great range out of it considering my office is in an industrial area and surrounded by steel buildings, trees, Power lines and a railroad tracks and the router is located in a small storage room. I can take my Toshiba or Compaq laptops out to the parking lot and most of the time up the driveway and still get 2 to 3 bars in green.
I would recommend this product for the average user as a starter Wireless Router.
I’ve had this product for about 3 months now and have not had a problem since.
