Returned this turkey

Why did I return this turkey? Hmmm. Let me see... I can think of four compelling reasons without even trying hard.

1) The installation program could not find the router so the installation failed.
2) The web admin page worked, but at least 6 of the pages were missing, for example the page for setting up shared storage.
3) The router came with an old version of firmware (1.03.2), so I used the firmware upgrade web page to upgrade. About 75% of the way through the upgrade: "Upgrade are failed." (sic)
4) Tried to use tftp to 'put' the firmware directly to the router. There are no clear directions on how to do this on the Linksys websites. I couldn't even get a connection to the blasted blinking brick.

Now, I have installed and configured about 6 other routers in my home before this one. This is the first (and, I think, the last) Linksys router that I will ever purchase again. 2 days of trying to get this thing to work are lost and I don't intend to lose any more time over these poorly made products.

I purchased this from Fry's on a weekend. Spent the next weekend trying to get it to work (unsuccessfully). And returned it the following weekend. They accepted the return and mentioned that I "was not alone."
