Very poor technical service

The Bottom Line: A decent product in terms of price/performance. The technical service does not live up to my expectations
Review: The modem is OK. Fairly easy to configure through the web based interface. We bought it to avoid having the two separate boxes for the modem and router.

CONSTANT Dropped Connections

The Bottom Line: Initial unit was defective. Dropped connection constantly. Mfgr sent replacement. REPLACEMENT DROPS CONNECTION ALSO. STAY AWAY!!!! PIECE OF CRAP!

Linksys Integration Failed

The Bottom Line: Do not recommend purchasing WCG200 or Linksys; reliability questionable and no firmware or support options available other than simple exchange. Recommend separate cable modem and wireless router instead, preferably non-Linksys.
Review: I purchased this product one year ago. Since that time I've experienced adequate performance from the WCG200 with a 5Mbps connection from Time-Warner Cable in North Carolina but there is still some significant downside to this product.

Very good and very reliable

Review: The WCG200s that are shipping now have updated firmware that has improved performance and reliability. I do not agree with others' negative comments as to WAN drops, as we do not see that at all.
