It works on XP64!

I just moved to a 3,000 square foot house which is pretty isolated to noise and also to wireless traffic, i need the wireless network for the home business and decided that i need the very best to save time and effort.
I had a Belkin N router and most of the adapters were G type. I bought a D-Link DIR-655 Xtreme N router and added an extra strong antenna to it, Speed and reception was much better than the Belkin N but yet, i decided i need more than that.
On the PC that that i use i have XP64 with a G adapter and it took me days to get that adapter to work with XP64.
Therefore, my main concern was finding an N adapter which is as strong as my router and also compatible with XP64. Thanks to the last review I've seen here, i had enough guts to try it out and to my surprise, i didn't use the drivers on the CD but downloaded new ones from Linksys instead, and guess what, it actually worked without me touching or editing anything!
Speed and signal improved a lot, I'm getting 270Mbps and I'm very happy so far.

Update *15/08/08*: It seems like the latest drivers from Linksys has some serious bug, the computer becomes jumpy, every min or so i get like a 1 sec lag, can even sense it while moving the mouse! It becomes very noticable when trying to hear some music in Winamp. Those drivers has direct effect on the problem, playing music while installing or uninstalling will immediatly either resolve or create the problem, even without a reset. And i also found that the trigger is the internet, when i'm not connected to the internet it doesn't happen.
The solution i found for it is using an older Broadcom drivers i found online, the only down size that windows then says i'm connected 108-260 mbps, but from what i can tell by the router and the speed tests i tried, speed is still the same.
