Linksys EtherFast® BEFSR81 Router

We bought this router thinking it must be good because of its name. Well we were very wrong. We had it for 3 weeks and EVERY day of those 3 weeks the router would cut off for a couple seconds each day. Now that may not sound like a big deal but keep in mind when your router cuts the connection even for a half second, everything that is running that depends on an internet connection also is cut off.

We thought maybe it was our modem or internet connection but considering that since we have bought a different router from a different company, we haven't had any connection cutoffs in the past 2 months.

In addition: the junk Linksys was $30 more than the router we replaced it with (Belkin), and the new one is by far better quality (not to mention wireless even!)

Stay away from Linksys we would never waste our money on them again.
