Linksys EtherFast® BEFSR81 Router

Be aware that Linksys/Cisco is not honoring warranties on their low-end routers. Routers such as the BEFSR81 and BEFSR41 (4 and 8 input units) fail often. Those in Newegg.com rate them poorly. Mine failed after a few months. I had to call Linksys three different times to get authorization to return it, then fax the sales slip to someone without an 800 number, and then wait. I am still waiting.
