Ultra Fast

Yesterday I installed this Linksys EtherFast BEFCMU10 Cable Modem, because the Toshiba PCX1100U was having connection problems. No longer do I have to reboot my modem 2 to 4 times per day. The installation was very easy. Shortly after I set up this modem, I went to CNet.com to check out the internet connection speed. I took five different readings with an average of 3600Kbps. WOW! With the older Toshiba, I was only able to achieve 2100 to 2350 KBps late at night. Tonight I tested the connection speed again, and I reached an average of 3700Kbps with the Linksys cable modem in the early evening when the cable network should be the busiest. I am truely amazed with the connection speed and reliability of this modem compared to my older Toshiba modem. How many of you are getting those kind of speed readings?
