Great little switch

I originally got this wanting a cheap 16 port of higher switch. I was thinking this thing would be about the size of Linksys' regular routers, boy was I wrong. This is the smallest 16-port switch I have seen. It is not much bigger than the ports themselves.

I have now been using this for 4-6 months without a single hitch, using about 8 of the ports.

Not much to complain about here, but if I had to give you a negative here are a couple...

-This thing is so tiny that it makes it slightly more difficult than usual to plug/unplug cables.
-The ports are on the back and the lights are on the front, which makes it difficult to see which cable is signaling.

Since this unit is so small it is really intended for a small workgroup, not an environment where you constantly have to switch cables in and out. If you are going to be switching cables or need to monitor activity on every port then you might consider one of their rack mountable solutions.
