My LS V8 rules!

The Lincoln LS V8 is a powerful, fun American car. I bought mine used in 2005 (with 17,000 miles), so it was just getting broken in when I got it!

I got the top-of-the-line model, complete with the in-dash touch-screen navigation, 6-cd changer, sunroof, spoiler. It even has heated AND COOLED leather seats. You don't realize how nice they are until you have them!!! Cool in the summer, warm in the winter! And the THX sound system is amazing. My husband runs a car audio shop and he even says that it is the best-sounding factory car stereo he's ever heard! You will be impressed.

I love the 280 hp V8 engine. It is responsive, fast, and doesn't do too badly on gas mileage. I get about 20 mpg and I drive in a lot of stop-and-go commuter traffic.

I've had a few issues with the stereo/navigation system. Several times the preset buttons have gone blank (but the radio/CD still plays) and a few times my CDs have gotten stuck inside the changer. I've had to take it to the dealership for repair each time. Somewhat annoying.

Another annoying feature: whenever the battery dies, once you restart it, the emergency brake automatically activates and you have to go through some crazy procedure to unlock it. Keep the manual handy so you can follow the steps for this!
